INSPIRED by memories of living in Japan as a young child, Sarah created the architecture of the space, particularly the exposed truss and vaulted ceiling, to be reminiscent of Shinto shrines.
Her intention is for visitors to have a sense of calm. To have a moment to decompress from the day-to-day and busy lives. It is a reminder that anyone can create a quiet place to retreat and be mindful in their own home.
